2026 SEASON!!! The Assistant Golf Professional is a key member of the golf management team who assists the Head Golf Professional with the daily operations of the entire golf program, ensuring a smooth, high-quality experience for members and guests. Experience Required
Professional Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf and the rules (USGA). PGA Associate or Membership is not required but is strongly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on hospitality. Ability to resolve conflicts and address member/guest issues effectively. Operational Experience with daily golf operations, including tee sheet and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Knowledge of inventory control and retail merchandising principles. Instructional Ability to teach golf instruction to various skill levels (private and group). Knowledge of club fitting and repair. Proficiency with golf management software (e.g., Golf Genius, Jonas and Member\'s First). Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Essential Responsibilities
Daily Operations:
Perform daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, processing sales transactions (POS), and managing the tee sheet. Club Services:
Provide services such as club fitting and minor club repair (e.g., re-gripping). Guest Interaction:
Greet members and guests, book tee times, answer questions, and resolve customer issues in a friendly and professional manner. Handicap Management:
Administer and maintain the USGA/GHIN handicap system for members. Planning and Execution:
Assist the Tournament Director in the coordination, promotion, and execution of tournaments and special member events (often using software like Golf Genius). Benefits
