Quality Engineer We are seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Quality Engineer (QE) to join our team. This critical role ensures the quality of the products we deliver and serves as a key technical resource to the engineering team. The QE will support root cause investigations, drive corrective actions, and perform product inspections across the facility. They will work closely with production, engineering, and customers to ensure parts meet specifications, nonconformances are resolved quickly, and continuous improvement goals are achieved. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting part verification and the administration of our quality management system. Working at a fast pace with a detail oriented and self-disciplined approach is imperative for success in this role. This job requires the ability to complete many different tasks with a careful approach that ensures accuracy and quality. A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to follow all procedures to facilitate the production of high-quality parts produced with many different methods is required to be successful in this role. Reports to: Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities: •Develop and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation in line with company and customer requirements. •Support daily production quality activities, including first-piece inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections. •Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for internal and customer quality issues. •Create and update control plans, FMEAs, and inspection documentation for new and existing parts. •Participate in new part launch activities, including PPAP submissions and capability studies. •Assist with gage calibration and verification of measurement tools. •Conduct internal audits and support external or customer audits as needed. •Work with suppliers to address quality issues and support incoming material inspection. •Track and analyze scrap, rework, and inspection data to identify improvement opportunities. •Provide training and technical support to quality technicians, inspectors, and production personnel. •Communicate directly with customers on quality-related issues when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications: •Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). •3–5 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing engineering role within metal fabrication, stamping, or machining. •Strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T, and dimensional inspection methods. •Experience with APQP tools such as PPAP, FMEA, and control plans preferred. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP or QMS software. •Hands-on experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and CMMs. •Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. •ASQ Certification or CMM Programming experience is a plus, but not required.

Additional Requirements: •Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. •May require occasional lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. •Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment.
