Executive Assistant – San Francisco, CA
LHH is partnering with an organization in San Francisco, CA in search of a temporary Executive Assistant to support two senior executives. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with exposure to board-level operations and high-profile stakeholders. The company operates at the intersection of media and technology, offering a nimble and fast-moving culture.
The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and strategic professional with a strong background supporting C-level executives, particularly CFOs and CHROs. They must be comfortable handling confidential information, managing board-related tasks, and navigating ambiguity with confidence and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive support to CFO and CHRO
Manage board-related tasks including board decks, meeting minutes, and board technology
Anticipate executive needs and proactively solve problems
Communicate effectively and maintain high levels of confidentiality
Collaborate with Chief of Staff and interact with board members
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting C-level executives
Prior experience supporting CFO, CHRO, or CEO preferred
Experience with board-level operations and private equity boards
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack; familiarity with board tech tools
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, less-structured environment
Job Type: Contract (3–6 months)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid, mostly remote with occasional onsite presence in San Francisco, CA
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time
Pay Rate: $50–$56/hour, depending on experience
