We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Manager of Business Data Analysts to lead a high-performing team supporting one of our largest retail clients. This role is ideal for a data-savvy leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about enabling data-driven decision-making through AI and machine learning initiatives.
As the Manager, you will oversee a team of analysts responsible for annotation workflows, translating complex tax and retail requirements into actionable data inputs, and ensuring the accuracy and relevance of retail product data. You will partner closely with development and data science teams to align on project goals and data strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Data Analysts. Oversee annotation projects and ensure clarity in requirements and execution. Translate complex business and tax requirements into structured data inputs for AI/ML models. Ensure high-quality, accurate, and relevant retail product data. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and data science teams. Drive continuous improvement in data processes and team workflows. Advocate for data quality, governance, and best practices across projects. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing or leading data analyst teams. Strong critical thinking and ability to see the big picture. Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, and Excel. Familiarity with GCP, Vertex AI, and Copilot. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Solid understanding of the retail domain.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with AI/ML projects and data modeling. Hands-on experience with annotation workflows and tools. Background in working with large-scale retail data environments.
