Our firm is hiring an associate attorney who will support us by conducting legal research, drafting documents, maintaining client files, and assisting with legal counsel.

$90,000- $120,000 yearly Responsibilities:

Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action Attend depositions, mediations, and other matters. Handle client matters from start to finish, with limited supervision by senior attorneys or partners. Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base Must be a member of the Georgia Bar in good standing. Experience in bankruptcy or commercial litigation of at least 1-2 years is required. About Company We are a boutique bankruptcy and litigation firm located in the metro Atlanta area.
