Our company, a leader in its industry for 20 years with a great product and an exceptional track record, is seeking a hands-on, strategic, and highly collaborative Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to the private owners, the CFO will serve as a valued executive leader responsible for the entire financial health of the organization, managing our current phase of tremendous growth. This is a key leadership role for a true people person who can mentor a small, dedicated finance and accounting team while serving as a strategic partner to the ownership and executive team. Base pay range:
$175,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr Note: This range is provided by MidAtlantic Recruiters. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Function as a key member of the Executive Team, providing strategic recommendations and data-driven insights to ownership Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 6 (including the Controller), fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Direct all budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities Financial Operations Oversight:
Oversee all financial and accounting operations, including the monthly close, financial reporting, revenue, expenses/payables, and internal controls Technological & Process Excellence:
Champion systems modernization and process improvements. Evaluate and integrate new technology to streamline workflows and enhance financial accuracy Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA Experience in a mid-size private company ($30M-$200M in annual revenue) 12+ years’ experience in accounting and finance, with significant tenure in an executive financial leadership role (VP of Finance, CFO, or highly experienced Controller) Seniority level
