Chief Financial Officer (CFO) . Our client is a leading, Private Equity-backed specialty contractor poised for its next phase of significant growth, with revenue approaching $200 million. This role requires strong executive presence and serves as the primary key strategic partner to the CEO. The CFO will ensure strict adherence to GAAP and corporate reporting standards, leveraging deep expertise in Corporate FP&A and maintaining complete, strategic knowledge of the company’s project financial status across its high-volume construction portfolio. A hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset is critical for this high‑growth environment. Serve as the primary liaison with the company’s Board of Directors, including Private Equity sponsors, and bankers, demonstrating executive presence and providing clear, compelling financial communication. Lead the Corporate FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range strategic financial planning to support the company’s growth targets. Manage and execute all financial reporting required by the Private Equity owners (e.g., weekly dashboards, covenant compliance, quarterly board packages, and due diligence support). Prepare the company’s financial reporting package and ancillary documentation timely and in accordance with applicable established policies and procedures. Monitor and analyze monthly overhead expenditures to justify and/or correct budget variances. Manage all corporate accounting and financial reporting functions, with the Corporate Controller reporting directly to this role. Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the performance of the finance and accounting team, including the Controller, payroll, and accounting personnel. Maintain complete knowledge and high‑level visibility over the financial status of all company projects, understanding the underlying project accounting for accurate financial reporting and risk management. Manage cash flow by coordinating timely collections with appropriate project managers and customers. Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working as a CFO or Controller in a Private Equity‑owned company is highly preferred. P&L responsibility for approximately $200 million in revenue is highly desired. BA/BS degree from an accredited four‑year college or university in Accounting or Business, five to seven years recent related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and construction experience. CPA is highly desirable. Public/Private accounting experience++ Working knowledge of construction contract language and terms. Must
