This role is part of the Developer Engineering organization and focuses on core reliability platforms and services that empower engineering teams to deliver software quickly, safely, and with high quality. Hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay area or the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan (DMV) area. Responsibilities

Build and scale foundational developer platforms that serve as the backbone for the engineering organization. Define and execute a clear product strategy for Observability, BCDR & Incident Management within the internal developer engineering team. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, developer-facing products in an agile environment. Understand the entire developer workflow from coding to operations and identify opportunities to remove friction and improve efficiency. Own and prioritize the product roadmap for a suite of platform services (metrics platform, logging pipelines, alerting systems, on-call and incident response tooling, BCDR orchestration). Define and track operational health metrics (e.g., system availability, MTTR) and build tools to help teams manage services effectively. Champion a culture of reliability and ownership by delivering tools that enable developers to build and operate resilient, highly available systems. Identify and measure KPIs that reflect developer productivity and system health and use data to refine the product roadmap. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree At least 5 years in a technical product management role (Developer Tools, Platform Engineering, SRE, Observability, or related) Experience with developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or observability products Proven track record of managing technical products through the full lifecycle Experience using data to inform product decisions and measure success of developer-facing tools Preferred Qualifications

MBA or equivalent experience Experience with internal developer platforms (IDPs), service catalogs, and “Paved Road” engineering Familiarity with modern observability tools (e.g., Grafana), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and Kubernetes Strong knowledge of SRE principles (SLOs, error budgets, incident management) Excellent communication, able to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Self-starter, able to operate in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment Compensation and Benefits
