Our client, a Boston-based alternative investment firm, is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support its corporate accounting operations. The position offers a dynamic environment with full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, FP&A support, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with strong technical skills and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-performing team. Responsibilities
Prepare and enter journal entries for domestic and international entities Perform month-end account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts Calculate inter-company eliminations and currency translation adjustments Support monthly FP&A analysis for select line items Assist with audit preparation and GAAP financial statement reporting Generate ad hoc reports and financial analysis as needed Qualifications
CPA required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting 2-4 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting, including general ledger maintenance and month/year-end close Experience with financial services clients is a plus Familiarity with QuickBooks or Workday is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Seniority level
