Works collaboratively with the sales team to ensure sales efforts are coordinated and not duplicated. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings; activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, tradeshows, etc. Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities. Entertain clients and hotel guests on property as directed by the Director of Sales. Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Participate in sales calls, phone solicitation/prospecting, market analyses to acquire new business and/or close on business. Execute and support operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts and customer correspondence). Identify new business opportunities in both corporate transient and corporate group to achieve personal and sales organization goals. Understand overall market, competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and competitor positioning to shift market share and optimize profitability of business. Establish themselves as a subject matter expert; serve the customer by understanding their business issues and concerns to offer better business solutions. Support the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Provide excellent customer service consistent with the daily service of the company. Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels. Work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing team to promote initiatives. Submit weekly activities reports; log activities, contacts, and communications in Delphi FDC. Initiate and execute group sales agreements on the company’s behalf, in alignment with property standards. Foster relationships with local and national corporate accounts and uncover opportunities for new business. Cultivate relationships with luxury corporate travel partners both domestic and international and participate in relevant FAM trips. Initiate individual and group resumes to ensure a seamless guest experience by communicating key information to internal department stakeholders. Skills/Knowledge
Complete understanding of forecasting, selling, and the LA/Beverly Hills competitive set Highly motivated individual who can work independently Ability to handle confidential information discretely and properly Self-starter with excellent presentation skills Proven track record of successful sales history Opera and Salesforce/Delphi.FDC knowledge preferred Qualifications
Education:
4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major preferred. Experience:
Minimum 5 years sales experience in luxury hotel environment with Forbes 5-star hotel experience preferred Grooming:
