Overview

The JDE Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the technical configuration, deployment, administration, and support of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) HR/Payroll modules and integrated HR/Payroll platforms. This position is part of the IT organization and will serve as the primary systems liaison for HR and Payroll, ensuring applications are optimized, secure, and aligned with business requirements. Candidates must have hands-on experience with JD Edwards HR/Payroll modules (version 9.2 preferred) and a track record of supporting enterprise HR/Payroll solutions at the system level, not just in payroll processing or benefits administration. Experience with Arcoro, Vairkko, and Paycor is strongly preferred; experience with other HR/Payroll systems will also be considered. Base pay range

Essential Functions

Configure, deploy, and maintain JD Edwards (JDE E1) HR/Payroll modules, including Benefits, Leave, Compensation, Payroll, and Self-Service. Lead or support full-cycle HCM implementation projects (requirements gathering through go-live and post-production support). Manage integrations, interfaces, and data flows with third-party HR/Payroll platforms (e.g., Arcoro, Vairkko, Paycor). Execute system configuration activities including multi-state tax setup, job costing (construction), and compliance-related updates. Apply and manage Electronic Software Updates (ESUs), patches, and upgrades to maintain system stability and compliance. Support orchestrations, workflows, and Vertex tax automation integrations as needed. Document system specifications, functional designs, and technical processes for audit and compliance. Collaborate with HR/Payroll business units to translate requirements into technical solutions while ensuring alignment with IT governance, SOX, and data privacy standards. Provide day-to-day system support, troubleshooting, and technical training to end users. Lead or participate in year-end processing, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required: 2+ years of direct technical system configuration and administration in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) HR/Payroll modules; version 9.2 strongly preferred. Proven experience delivering full-cycle HCM implementations in JDE (Hire-to-Retire), including technical requirements gathering, system build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Preferred: Hands-on experience integrating and supporting HR/Payroll platforms such as Arcoro, Vairkko, Paycor, and/or Vertex tax automation. Demonstrated ability to configure and deploy JDE modules at the system level, including Benefits, Payroll, Tax, Compensation, Leave, and Self-Service. Familiarity with JDE job costing system configuration and its application within the construction industry. Proficiency in creating and maintaining system documentation, technical workflows, data flows, and orchestrations/workflows. Strong technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for complex ERP issues. Experience applying and managing ESUs, patches, and system upgrades in compliance with IT change management and audit standards. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system solutions, and effectively communicate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field (equivalent experience considered). 2+ years of IT Business Systems Analyst or ERP Systems Analyst experience. 2+ years of hands-on JDE E1 HR/Payroll system support, configuration, and administration. HR/Payroll ERP system implementation experience required; Arcoro, Vairkko, and/or Paycor strongly preferred. Industry experience in construction, engineering, or related fields is a plus. Working knowledge of system implementation lifecycles, integrations, and change management practices. Understanding of SOX, IT governance, and data privacy standards in HRIS/Payroll environments preferred.
