Overview
As the VP, M&A and Corporate Development, you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our company through strategic partnerships, cultivating relationships with investors and financial stakeholders, and new business opportunities. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships, identifying market trends, and executing on strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance the company's market position. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The typical base pay range for this position is USD $243,000 - $381,700 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Responsibilities & Competencies
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company\'s business objectives including setting clear goals, identifying target audiences, and defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness. Identify opportunities for market expansion and growth, potentially through new market segments, product lines, or geographic regions. Develop an effective organization creating a culture of excellence that continues to achieve objectives and deliver success over time Identify and foster strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance the reach and impact of the business Define and articulate compelling value propositions and messaging that resonate with target customers Participate in the quarterly and annual planning cycles for the Business Unit and company Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree (MBA preferred) in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent 15+ years in the semiconductor or adjacent industry is preferred, with a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory requirements, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership position History of identifying emerging trends, technologies, and business models that drive growth Deep experience developing market entry strategies, customer acquisition, pricing models, and commercialization plans Proven experience in a senior business development role Proven track record of driving business growth Proven track record of organizational leadership, inspiring innovation, and building collaborative, high-performing teams Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop plans that are executable Experience translating Business Strategy into actionable roadmaps. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget Strong problem-solver and decision-making skills in complex and rapidly changing environments; able to articulate problem statement and develop roadmap to address Up to 50% travel required EEO / Diversity
