Overview

Sr. Materials Manager, AWS Supply Chain, AI/ML Supply Chain role focused on inventory management strategies that optimize customer experience, inventory levels, and operational efficiency within AWS Infrastructure Services. The role involves maintaining efficient manufacturing capacity, ensuring timely delivery of products, and collaborating across AWS to uphold safety and security standards while pursuing cost efficiency in a fast-paced, high-priority environment. Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable, reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics to drive key decisions and resource prioritization. Play a pivotal role in defining and executing complex supply chain strategies as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team. Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, adapting to rapidly changing priorities and ambiguous situations. Drive process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency and reliability. Develop and implement strategic supply schedules, clearly communicating priorities and status to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Knowledge of basic supply agreement construction and key contracting provisions/requirements. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical/quantitative field, or 6+ related experience. 6+ years of work experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, manufacturing or 4+ years with an advanced degree. 5+ years of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, etc. 4+ years of experience in program, project, or product management, or leading an implementation of a product. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in data centers, infrastructure service provider or similar technology company. Global Supply Chain Experience. Fluent in multiple languages (preferred). 10+ years of relevant supply chain experience. Understanding of implications of different operational choices to guide teams and leadership to best solutions for the organization. Analytical skills with proficiency in data mining. Ability to model supply chain strategies to define cost and performance impacts, trade-offs, and risks. Ability to think big and drive innovation throughout the supply chain; strong analytical, deep-diving capabilities. Effective communication at all levels of the organization; leadership and coaching skills. Experience creating innovative global supply strategies with tangible business benefits. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year to $220,200/year, with pay based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will remain posted until filled.
