About Bratz Beauty™

At Bratz, we don’t just make toys—we are building a lifestyle. And now, we’re entering the beauty space with Bratz Beauty™: a nostalgic, bold, and culturally expressive brand for the next generation. We're looking for a Product Development Lead to help bring this vision to life from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape a beauty brand from inception and influence global trends through provocative product innovation.

The Role

This is a high-impact, end-to-end product development role. You’ll drive the entire process from forecasting trends and building a product roadmap to formula and shade development, vendor awards, and packaging consultation. You’ll work cross-functionally with creative, marketing, operations, and sourcing to ensure every product delivers on the Bratz vision.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Innovation

  • Shape the Bratz Beauty™ product vision and innovation roadmap across core and future categories.
  • Forecast trends, map whitespace, and translate consumer and cultural insights into product concepts with global relevance.
  • Build and pitch new product ideas that fuse formula, packaging, and positioning with emotional and cultural resonance.

End-to-End Development Execution

  • Lead formula and shade development in partnership with top-tier labs and manufacturers.
  • Own timelines, COGs, gross margin targets, and forecasting inputs.
  • Manage all stages from concept to production, including RFP/vendor selection, testing, QA, claims, and regulatory steps.
  • Collaborate with creative, design, marketing, and sourcing to ensure 360° alignment across product and storytelling.
  • Stay up to date on beauty trends, consumer insights, and regulatory standards.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the product expert across internal teams and external partners.
  • Consult on packaging componentry and innovation, working hand-in-hand with design and ops.
  • Influence brand positioning, claims, naming, and GTM messaging to ensure products deliver both creatively and commercially.
  • Provide insight and input on packaging structure, componentry, and design.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced: 7–10+ years in beauty product development with proven end-to-end launch experience. L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, Unilever, or comparable background preferred.
  • Well-Connected: Strong network of global vendors, contract manufacturers, and formulation labs.
  • Creative & Strategic : Ability to think like a marketer and creator while executing like a business owner.
  • Entrepreneurial: You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and love building from scratch.
  • Detail-Obsessed : You know that excellence lies in the details—from color calibration to cost modeling.
  • Knowledgeable : Deep technical knowledge of beauty, formulas, ingredients, packaging, trends, brand storytelling, and go-to-market

Why Join Us?

You’ll be at the forefront of one of beauty’s most exciting new brand launches—with executive-level influence, creative freedom, and real opportunity to make your mark. If you’ve ever dreamed of building something iconic, this is your moment.
