Position A full-time research assistant to perform laboratory experiments at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in the Laboratory of Jonathan Green, preferably for 1-2 years. The aim of the project is to understand how neuron types in the cerebral cortex contribute to learning.

Responsibilities

Perform behavioral and brain imaging experiments on mice.

Collaborate on research projects, contributing to study design, data collection, and analysis.

Conduct systematic literature reviews to summarize existing research in the field.

Develop and maintain datasets for research purposes.

Perform statistical, quantitative, and/or computational analyses.

Organize, attend and effectively participate in team meetings, workshops, and seminars.

Assist in the preparation of teaching or training materials as needed.

Draft, edit, and contribute to research publications, presentations, and grant proposals.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience: Previous Research Lab Experience 0-1 year preferred or related 0-1 year; clinical or hospital setting experience 0-1 year preferred.
