Overview We’re seeking a Financial Controllerto lead the financial operations of a growing American manufacturing company known for its craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategic finance with operational excellence — ideal for a controller who thrives on accuracy, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

You’ll partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive financial performance, oversee accounting and reporting, and help guide the company through continued growth.

What You’ll Do

Partner with the CEO and leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning

Deliver actionable insights through KPI dashboards, margin analysis, and scenario modeling

Support capital investments, growth initiatives, and long-range planning decisions

Oversee all accounting operations: month-end close, GAAP compliance, audits, and financial reporting

Manage cost accounting, inventory valuation, and product profitability analysis across multi-channel sales (DTC, B2B, e-commerce)

Strengthen internal controls and process accuracy across all financial functions

Partner with production and operations to align performance with financial outcomes

Lead cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and liquidity planning

Develop financial models for new initiatives and business cases

Oversee vendor payments, FX exposure, landed cost, and customs/tariff compliance

Ensure all tax and regulatory filings are accurate and on time (federal, state, import/export, sales/use)

Supervise payroll, benefits, insurance, and HR-related financial operations

Lead ERP system integration and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and financial visibility

Drive continuous improvement across accounting and reporting workflows

Manage and mentor a small, high-performing finance team (AP, AR, payroll, purchasing)

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred

5–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or consumer products

Deep knowledge of cost accounting, ERP systems, and audit management

Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
