We have grown rapidly through innovative design, outstanding quality and developing key retailer and licensing relationships across the country. Role Overview

Gameday Social is seeking a high performing, growth-oriented Controller, accustomed to working in a founder led consumer goods company. This role blends full-cycle accounting leadership, P&L ownership, and cost/manufacturing finance expertise with oversight of our bookkeeper as well as high engagement with our operational team. The Controller will ensure financial accuracy, accountability, and insights that fuel visibility and financial management as we scale. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Sioux Falls, SD headquarters and warehouse, with regular virtual collaboration across our global sourcing and manufacturing partners. What Youll Do

Own and manage the companys consolidated Profit & Loss statement. Provide visibility into margins, cost structures, and performance across business lines (wholesale, retail, DTC, custom projects). Partner with Sales, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Operations to align financial goals with business initiatives. Accounting & Reporting: Lead the full accounting function including general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, and GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation. Oversee the bookkeeper to ensure AP/AR processes run accurately and on time. Coordinate with external accountants and auditors as needed. Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance: Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to capture true landed costsincluding raw materials, tariffs, freight, and multi-country production. Conduct cost and efficiency analyses to identify margin opportunities and process improvements. Partner with operations to ensure costing accuracy and financial alignment across purchase orders, inventory counts, and ERP transactions. Serve as the finance lead for Apparel Magic ERP and integration with QuickBooks, ensuring accurate configuration, costing, and reporting. Drive adoption and data integrity across the team, validating product costing, inventory, and transaction records. Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis: Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts; provide scenario modeling to support strategic decisions. Build dashboards, KPIs, and financial tools to give leadership actionable visibility into performance. Provide strategic recommendations on cost savings, margin expansion, and working capital optimization. Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in apparel, manufacturing, or consumer products Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and P&L management ERP experience (Apparel Magic, NetSuite, or similar) Experience managing AP/AR staff or bookkeepers Analytical mindset with proven ability to turn numbers into clear, actionable insights Entrepreneurial spiritcomfortable in a high-growth, hands-on, founder-led environment Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across teams and external partners A genuine passion for sports, fashion, and building a women-owned brand into a household name 401(k) match Paid Time Off (PTO) Schedule
