Waters has pioneered analytical techniques across Clinical Diagnostics, Food & Environmental, Pharmaceuticals, and Materials. In Clinical Diagnostics, Waters has leading LC-MS technologies used for applications including therapeutic drug monitoring, newborn screening, and endocrinology. With the growth in precision medicine, LC-MS in clinical diagnostics is expanding, and Waters aims to lead the continued broad-based adoption of LC-MS through continued innovation, new ionization methods, improved ease of use, and novel applications in omics research and anatomical pathology. Reporting to the Senior Director, Clinical Product Solutions, this role joins a passionate, agile team to develop innovative solutions addressing high unmet needs and establish Waters as a leader in clinical LC-MS diagnostics markets.
Responsibilities
Acts as a product and business owner for LC-MS/MS solutions for clinical diagnostics.
Owns Voice of Customer (VoC) and competitive benchmarking to identify unmet needs and develop value propositions for new product solutions in key therapeutic areas.
Leads the development of business cases for new product solutions or enhancements.
Develops comprehensive target product profiles through qualitative and quantitative market and customer requirement assessments.
Leads VOC SME customer relationship management and continuous feedback activities to ensure closed-loop feedback between customers and new product/solution implementation.
Partners with Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality teams for successful clinical studies, regulatory submissions, and clearance to enable market launches.
Defines and implements New Product Launch strategies and collaborates with field marketing, sales, and service management to maximize sales impact in the first two years.
Partners with Global Marketing, R&D, and Commercial teams on content generation to fulfill marketing strategy campaigns.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor of Science in a Scientific field or equivalent. MBA is highly desirable.
Experience in LC/MS product management is required.
IVD experience is desirable.
Experience in product management, business development, sales, or other customer-facing roles in the clinical diagnostics market is highly desired.
Experience with developing go-to-market product strategies.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
