Patton LLC is a leading provider of manufacturing services to a variety of industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Precision Sheet Metal Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to engineering drawings and specifications Set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, punch presses, and saws Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure product accuracy Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine the layout of sheet metal parts and components Perform quality inspections to ensure that products meet customer specifications and company standards Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues or problems that arise during the manufacturing process Collaborate with other team members to improve product design and manufacturing processes Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in sheet metal fabrication preferred Experience with Strippit Punch Press and/or Amada Press Brake preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly Proficient in the use of sheet metal fabrication equipment and measuring instruments Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines Physical ability to lift and move sheet metal products and equipment as needed Location: Rockville, MD
