Nailor Industries of Texas is looking for an experienced

Machine Programmer

to join our North Las Vegas manufacturing facility. This is not an entry-level machine operator position — we are seeking a technically skilled professional who understands the programming, setup, and operation of a variety of metal fabrication machinery, including press brakes, punch presses, shears, and lasers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine programming, a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication, and the ability to work with engineering drawings and CAD files to create precise and efficient machine programs. Key Responsibilities: Program and set up CNC and manual metal fabrication machines including:

Press brakes CNC turret punch presses Hydraulic shears Fiber lasers (or similar)

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications. Convert CAD drawings into machine programs (G-code or proprietary formats). Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs for quality, efficiency, and machine performance. Work with production and engineering teams to resolve design or manufacturing issues. Ensure machinery is set up properly and operates within safety and quality standards. Maintain documentation for all programs and setup sheets. Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to process and productivity. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of hands-on experience in machine programming within a

sheet metal fabrication

environment. Proficient with CNC machine programming and setup for fabrication equipment. Strong understanding of G-code and other machine-specific programming languages. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and CAD drawings. Familiarity with common fabrication software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CAM packages like Mastercam or similar). Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail, quality-focused, and safety-conscious. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Amada, Trumpf, or similar fabrication machines. Knowledge of HVAC product manufacturing.
