About Data Analytics (DA) Data Analytics is one of the highest growth practices within Evalueserve, providing you rewarding career opportunities. What you will be doing at Evalueserve Data Governance Leadership: Lead data governance projects and oversee all governance operations, ensuring effective management, quality, and security of organizational data assets. Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead the alignment/ communication between marketing, analytics, Ops, Data science, Media, Execution—translating business needs into data requirements and governance practices. Taxonomy Management: Define and maintain taxonomy for marketing data domains, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation of data assets. Metadata Management: Design and maintain metadata repositories, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation of data assets, including data definitions, lineage, and usage. Data Quality Management: Collaborate with data quality experts to implement data quality rules, validation processes, and data cleansing procedures to maintain high-quality data standards. Compliance, Risk Mitigation and Security: Work closely with Audit and risk teams to identify gaps with the current vs recommended state of the marketing data Data Cataloging: Develop and maintain a centralized data catalog, allowing users to discover and understand available data assets, their sources, and permissible usage. What we’re looking for Provide advisory and consulting services in data governance. Develop and implement a robust data governance framework using tools like Collibra, Informatica IDMC or in similar tools etc. Collaborate with data stewards and business stakeholders to define data ownership, data quality standards, and classification. Lead the monitoring and management of the changes in taxonomy across channels which will lead to eliminating reporting inconsistencies Work closely with Audit and risk teams to identify gaps with the current vs recommended state of the marketing data Create and enforce data governance policies and procedures across cross-functional teams. 8-10 years of experience in Data Governance/Data Stewardship. Proficiency in development testing and deployment, coding standards, and best practices. Experience in defining and maintaining taxonomy for marketing data domains. Experience with retail marketing data preferred. Strong understanding of data governance standards. Extensive experience with data governance tools like (Collibra, Informatica IDMC or similar tools). Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Ability to develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures. Knowledge of data security protocols and compliance/audit policies.
