The Mechanical Integrity Team Leader is part of the Engineering and Reliability Department and reports to the Engineering and Reliability Manager. The role has two direct reports and eight indirect reports. Responsibilities

Manage and provide expertise to the site Mechanical Integrity program, processes, and the Mechanical Integrity team. Develop and implement the site Mechanical Integrity / Risk Based Inspection strategy and collaborate with Arkema North America Center For Manufacturing Excellence (CFME) on key Mechanical Integrity initiatives at the site. Manage outside contractors to complete Mechanical Integrity inspection testing on required frequencies and conduct inspections of plant piping, vessels, fireproofing and tanks for corrosion rate and remaining life calculations. Determine and continuously improve inspection frequencies and schedules. Ensure the plant Mechanical Integrity inspection system (isometric drawings, revised piping, piping replacements, new equipment, etc.) is maintained and updated. Daily Inspection Team Supervision — 40% Provide leadership accountability for development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Clear Lake Plant Mechanical Integrity program. Ensure inspector resources have the necessary skills and experience to maintain the Mechanical Integrity inspection process. Develop Mechanical Integrity program for fixed equipment and piping. Establish and report on targets; continuously improve Mechanical Integrity department metrics to manage risk to an acceptable level. Set high department standards and expectations. Manage internal and external contract resources to comply with all necessary inspections. Drive the team to complete action items and incident investigations in a timely manner. Ensure site RBI/Mechanical Integrity program complies with local/national regulations. Communication — 10% Facilitate RBI/Mechanical Integrity best practice sharing across Arkema North America as appropriate. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Assist plant management in establishing an acceptable level of risk for Mechanical Integrity across the plant. Provide strategic insight to the site Mechanical Integrity annual operating plan, strategic plan, and capital budget. Be the recognized expert of mechanical integrity codes, standards, and inspection techniques. Communicate status of RBI/Mechanical Integrity to appropriate stakeholders. Failure Analysis — 20% Ensure data collected is accurate and addresses relevant failure modes for fixed equipment. Ensure adequate resources are available for fitness-for-service evaluations or failure analyses. Provide well-written and oral presentations to the management team with necessary information and supporting analysis to aid business decisions. Develop/approve equipment repairs per local/national codes and RAGAGEPs. Evaluate failure areas to propose materials of construction and other design changes for the capital plan. Document Management — 10% Ensure procedures are in place to define inspection strategies based on evaluated or expected risk. Audit/evaluate contracted repair organizations and inspect repairs. Minimum Qualifications and Education

Minimum Years of Experience 10 years’ experience in fixed equipment inspection in a chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environment. Education and Area of Focus BS Degree in Engineering Discipline—Preferably Mechanical Certifications/Training API 510, 570, or 653 inspector certification and documented RBI training or API 580 certification preferred. API 571/936 is a plus. Knowledge of applicable RAGAGEPs including ASME, API, ASTM. Plant Condition Management Software (PCMS) and SAP experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal, technical and leadership skills. Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and self-reliance. Strong leadership and work ethic; ability to work cooperatively with others and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Demonstrates initiative, personal drive and accountability; demonstrated leadership, learning and development skills. Interface effectively with manufacturing, engineering, and other cross-functional teams; strong problem-solving and solution presentation skills. Ability to influence without formal authority; good written and oral communication with operations and maintenance personnel. Ability to follow maintenance procedures for equipment; ability to read, understand and utilize equipment drawings and P&ID diagrams. Must provide metrics and accountability-driven leadership with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative; able to collaborate with hourly and professional personnel. HES Requirements Supports the site HES policy and complies with regulatory and internal requirements. Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Based Safety, SafeStart, etc.). Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident, or injury incidents. Seniority and Employment Details
