Supervisor Storeroom - Integrated Supply. Vallen is an industry leader in delivering flexible supply chain solutions. This role is a staff management position integrated within a customer location to oversee and lead day-to-day activities of a small team engaged in customer support, crib and/or storeroom operations. The supervisor is responsible for training and managing the work functions of Buyers, CSRs, Warehouse Workers, Crib Attendants, Inventory Control, VMI, and/or other operational support roles that align with the needs of the assigned customer. The role ensures work activities are efficient, safe, in compliance with operating policies and procedures, and meet the highest level of customer satisfaction in an Integrated Supply environment. Responsibilities

Staff supervisory duties including participating in interviews, coaching, training, delegating work assignments, and assisting with documentation for disciplinary actions while enforcing company policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Assist with ensuring storeroom operations follow ISO compliance per contract with the customer. Train and mentor associates on proper handling of storeroom materials, usage of storeroom tools, operating policies and SOPs; ensure safe operation of storeroom. Research and perform root cause analysis for complex site/customer issues; engage with customers for resolution on escalated issues. Audit and review daily work of others for accuracy. Provide coverage for staffing needs in various functional roles as needed (e.g., vacation coverage). Ensure team resources are used effectively to meet productivity and profitability targets. Collaborate with leadership to produce service level reports. May participate in internal Vallen and/or customer audits. Assist with preparing materials for quarterly site presentations to plant management regarding Vallen’s service, projects, and activities. Identify customer cost savings through process improvement and product price variance. Provide high level of customer service by responding to customers via phone, email or in person; serve as escalation point for unresolved or complex customer service issues. Assist management with ensuring Vallen’s systems of record are accurate for managed employees and assigned customers. Performs other related duties as requested. Qualifications

Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Business, Finance) and 3+ years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience. Relevant experience should include: Demonstrated product, industry and supply chain systems knowledge Strong ability to work independently with little supervision Strong communication, planning, organizational, time management, problem solving and customer service skills Quality mindset with attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness Proven ability to set goals and meet tight deadlines with heavy workload Proven ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and reports Ability to mentor new staff and cross-train with existing staff Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word) and the aptitude to learn company-specific programs Staff Management Responsibilities

Immediate supervision over a unit, section, or department where the majority of time is spent assigning, reviewing, checking work and resolving routine difficulties. Recommends candidates for hiring and termination; conducts performance appraisals and salary reviews; applies company policies. Work Environment & Physical Demands
