Overview
Growth Account Executive- SaaS Shipping; Boston, MA at Pitney Bowes Location: Boston, MA The role focuses on Shipping, Locker, and other growth/expansion/upsell and competitive displacement products within Pitney Bowes’ SaaS-based solutions. You will hunt for new business and manage existing key client relationships with a focus on expansion selling outside of the existing contract renewal window. You will own the full sales cycle from lead to contract renewal in a consultative environment (virtual, in person, or over the phone). Compensation: base salary range $55,000 to $75,000 annually, with actual pay based on skills and experience. Incentive-based pay up to a target OTE of $110,000 - $130,000 annually. This field-based sales role will primarily serve Austin, Texas; however, the posting title indicates a Boston location for the role. Own the full sales cycle (lead generation through closing) for the full suite of growth solutions. Drive expansion and land revenue for high shipping-need clients. Educate prospects using a customer-focused, consultative sales process to determine the best-fit products or services. Conduct product demos, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships across a wide array of prospects and customers. Capture organic expansion growth for the portfolio, including competitive displacement and win-backs. Become an industry expert in office shipping, warehouse shipping, and eCommerce for global and domestic contexts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and improve software products. Communicate the value proposition of Shipping, Locker, MailStream OnDemand, and expansion solution sets. Collaborate with segment-aligned Client Success Managers, Sales Engineers, and Product Specialists to meet objectives. Utilize CRM and prospecting tools to identify prospects, manage leads and opportunities, and report on sales progress. Engage with C-Suite and other stakeholders in client-facing capacity. Conduct face-to-face meetings virtually or in person when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Your Background
As a Shipping Growth Executive, you have: 3+ years in B2B sales Strong experience selling SaaS solutions (eCommerce / Warehouse Shipping / Mailing Solutions / Office Shipping preferred) Proven track record closing business over the phone or via virtual meetings Experience initiating contact through cold calling 3+ years of prospecting/hunting with sales discovery and client needs analysis skills Ability to learn new processes and adapt quickly Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools to manage a robust book of business Experience applying consultative selling techniques and solutions-based selling Ability to build and execute a personal strategic plan with weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals Commitment to achieving objectives and delivering measurable outcomes Our Team
