Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will oversee all accounting and financial operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This includes leading the accounting team, preparing accurate financial statements, maintaining compliance with GAAP, and strengthening internal controls to support efficient, scalable operations. Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and general ledger activities. Supervise and develop accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the month-end close process to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Manage and optimize financial systems, databases, ERP platforms, and internal processes to support a growing manufacturing operation. Maintain and enforce strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Oversee preparation of tax filings and compliance with all local, state, and federal financial reporting obligations. Partner closely with operations and supply chain teams to analyze production costs, inventory valuation, and margin performance. Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners; manage preparation and support for all audits. Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and special financial projects. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA required. Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Manufacturing experience required. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment. Seniority level
