We are currently working with an established CPA firm that is looking to add a professional
Tax Manager
to their growing organization. This is a stable firm with strong ties in the market, providing valuable expertise in the tax and financial services. Due to the company's continued expansion, they are in need of a
Tax Manager
to work directly with a highly motivated staff and other Senior Staff Members. Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex corporate, partnership, high net worth individual, fiduciary, and tax-exempt entity tax returns Meet with prospective clients and assist with preparation of proposals Interpret and apply knowledge of various trust documents and wills, operating agreements, and other related documents Assist clients with related business needs (QuickBooks, payroll tax, sales tax) Represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service; supervise seniors and staff, evaluate performance, and provide feedback Maintain accurate records for client billing systems Assist in the training and development of less experienced staff Keep partners informed of important work developments, analyze major problems, and recommend solutions Manage and maintain multiple client relationships, engagements, and special projects on time and on budget Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred CPA certification required 5+ years of public accounting experience Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, and audit project management skills Ability to effectively communicate and develop strong relationships with clients, business partners, and co-workers Proficient in MS Office; proficiency in Thompson Reuters or equivalent tax software required How to apply
