KPMG is seeking a VDI Lead Engineer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity. Responsibilities Work closely with internal Virtualization Operations and Engineering teams to gather requirements and deploy appropriate tools; provide technical leadership in the development, integration, and testing of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, supporting multiple geographic locations, network enclaves, and virtual desktop pools Contribute to the overall technology plan, ensuring integration with the network security technical infrastructure; collaborate with other technology teams and vendors to deliver complete networking solutions Design, upgrade, test, and modify the VDI environment based on capacity and utilization requirements; troubleshoot and correct faults or outages; maintain knowledge of current industry directions and trends; deliver technology on the roadmap on schedule and with high quality Provide expert guidance to carry out plans and procedures; ensure product development process adherence, performance and budget targets; deliver last-tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause and preventative analysis Build configuration management, service provisioning, inventory management, resource management, process automation, visibility, and self-service tools; provide training and guidance to other team members Uphold integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to maintain KPMG’s respectful work environment Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience supporting and engineering Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments, including CVAD architecture and image management for non-persistent and persistent environments; experience with Citrix Provisioning (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED required Knowledge of profile management technologies (e.g., Ivanti UWM, FSLogix); working knowledge of Citrix XenServer and VMware ESXi; strong troubleshooting skills across Citrix and Windows OS in enterprise environments Experience with enterprise monitoring tools for Citrix environments (Citrix Director/Monitor, ControlUp, or similar); familiarity with Citrix Cloud/Citrix DaaS and cloud hosting platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), preferably Azure; familiarity with Citrix ADC (NetScaler) and Citrix Gateway Service; networking knowledge (switches, firewalls, proxies) to support VDI connectivity Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; scripting/automation experience (PowerShell or similar) is helpful Authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future KPMG LLP and its affiliates comply with local, state, and federal recruitment and hiring laws.
