$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Job Summary
The Project Accountant will manage project billing and collections, enter and monitor project budgets and prepare agreements, and perform other accounting duties as needed. Duties and Responsibilities
Set up Project, enter budgets, and monitor project cost versus budgets in Deltek VantagePoint (Accounting Software). Support effective client relationships and submit and revise elaborate client invoices. Prepare project weekly/ monthly reports or payroll certifications required by clients, as needed. Monitor receivable income and make collection calls. Prepare subconsultant agreements. Review and process subconsultant invoices. Confirm client / Prime Consultant payments in agency portals. Handle collection calls. Ensure up-to-date maintenance of client contracts that reflect project needs. Support Project Managers with pending Contract Amendments/ Supplements. Track and enter vehicle costs to projects. Review expense reports. Perform various accounting and administrative tasks, as needed. Perform special projects for the CFO or the President. Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience
Bachelor’s in Accounting or similar. 3-5 years of experience in A/E Industry preferred. Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint experience preferred. Proficiency in electronic accounting systems. Equal Employment Opportunity
