Pelican Grand Beach Resort, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, seeks a dynamic Sales & Catering Coordinator who will perform administrative duties to help the department plan and manage events and catering services. The Sales & Catering Coordinator will have great attention to detail with customer service, finance, organization, quick problem-solving and the ability to improve efficiency. Essential Functions

Handle Catering and Group turnovers/file setup Ensure BEOs are included in the 10-day Lead point of contact when any sales manager is out of the office Answer calls and take inquiries Input all Ocean2000 reservations into Delphi Maintain and distribute: 10-day schedule, daily event listings, resumes, BEOs, and amenity requests Assist the Director of Sales & Catering with managing the checkbook and invoices Assist with social media postings with Regional Marketing Director Update photography and permission of use from weddings hosted at the resort Handle gift certificates Support the General Manager and sales & catering management team in day-to-day tasks Benefits

Our ideal candidate has these specific job knowledge, skills and abilities: 2 years related Food & Beverage &/or Hotel Hospitality work experience HS graduate a must; some college preferred Minimum of 5 years excellent Microsoft & Windows computer skills; Canva and Excel a plus Must be personable with an outgoing personality Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to comprehend and follow instructions effectively Must be able to pass a background check Must be legally eligible to work in the United States Desired characteristics
