Davis Veterinary Service is a well-established, fast-paced, 2 doctor practice located in Rensselaer, IN with a satellite 1 doctor practice in Winamac, IN. We are a full-service small animal general practice clinic offering dentistry, in-house labs, full body digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, surgery, and more. Our hours of operation are Monday–Friday from 8am–5pm. Our team is tight-knit and caring. Join us to practice big city medicine in a small-town country setting. We Offer Our Veterinarians

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university Current DEA License or obtained upon hire Active Veterinary State License USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire Additional Information

Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods Ability to be confident around animals (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.). Client needs and work volume may require more than 40 hours per week, including weekends, evenings and/or holidays Must have mental capacity and abilities for reasoning, memory, mathematics, and language (English) to perform duties The noise level is moderately high; ear plugs available upon request Ambulatory skills required to perform duties Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity to operate equipment Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment Exposure to animals and potential hazards; may involve anesthesia, radiation, biological or zoonotic hazards and/or medications
