Overview
General Practice Nurse Practitioner role with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Lebanon in Concord, NH. This is a full-time position based primarily at New Hampshire Hospital, our affiliated state psychiatric facility in Concord, NH. The position involves collaboration with a Medical Staff of primary care physicians and nurse practitioners to diagnose and manage co-morbid medical problems among psychiatric patients, with opportunities to participate in research focused on innovative models for delivering mental health care.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage co-morbid medical conditions for psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting. Collaborate with PMHNPs, Psychiatrists, and General Medicine providers to deliver state-of-the-art inpatient psychiatric care. Be part of a team committed to professional development and practicing at the top of the scope of the NP/PA role. Potential involvement in research and services research related to mental health care delivery models.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA academic program National specialty certification as FNP, PNP, Acute or Primary Care A-GNP, WHNP or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Required Licensure/Certifications
Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRN only) Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH Eligible for Federal DEA Registration BLS certification
