Overview

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada (BGCSNV) Executive Team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees the management of all financial functions including accounting, payroll, financial planning, internal/external reporting, internal controls/compliance, grant billing, and 401(k) administration. The CFO is responsible for the establishment and management of the organizational budget, the budget process, and forecasting revenues and expenses. Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all financial operations of the organization including accounting, budgeting, payroll, forecasting, financial analysis, cash flow management, and day-to-day processing. Develop and implement financial strategies and processes that support BGCSNV’s mission and goals. Ensure compliance with all financial reporting and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits. Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision making. Collaborate with BGCSNV’s Executive Team on the organization’s strategic plan. Prepare and present financial reports to the Executive Team and/or Board of Directors, including regular updates on budget performance, forecasts, and financial risks/opportunities. Develop and oversee the budgeting process, work with program managers and stakeholders to develop realistic budgets, monitor actual performance against budget, and provide regular updates and analysis to the CEO and Board of Directors. Develop and maintain financial forecasting models for long-term planning. Ensure timely grant payment/billing and monitor grant budget compliance to maximize revenue. Fulfill the financial role of fiscal agent for state alliance funds/grants managed by BGCSNV. Maintain BGCSNV compliance in all financial areas including the implementation and maintenance of internal controls. Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; master’s degree preferred. CPA license active within the past 5 years. Five+ years of senior management or executive-level experience in nonprofit administration preferred; strong history in roles as a major part of relevant experience. Thorough knowledge of budgeting and generally accepted accounting principles, processes, and procedures or equivalent experience. Organized, focused, and goal-oriented with initiative, energy, and ability to work independently. Superior oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and work under time constraints. Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills with professional interaction with the public, vendors, and staff. High integrity with the ability to inspire confidence and cooperation. Ability to work occasional irregular or extended hours. Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google productivity suites (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook) along with relevant financial software experience. Compensation & Benefits

Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr. Compensation: $110,000 annually. Eligible for full-time benefits after the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, 401(k), Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off and Employee Assistance Program. Employment with BGCSNV may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF). Drug testing and fingerprint-based background checks are required as conditions of employment.
