What You'll Do
Lead productivity initiatives and build a strong culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) across the plant.
Conduct time studies, process mapping, and workflow analysis to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce waste.
Collect and analyze production data using Lean/Six Sigma tools (Pareto, SPC, DOE) to identify trends and improve performance.
Apply Lean Manufacturing methods (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping) to streamline processes and boost efficiency.
Support Six Sigma projects to improve quality, reduce defects, and minimize variation.
Partner with plant leadership and operators to implement standardized work procedures and best practices.
Lead Kaizen workshops and train employees in CI tools (PDCA, process flow, problem-solving).
Develop and update SOPs to ensure lasting improvements.
Collaborate with the leadership team on roadmaps that drive the plant toward world‑class (Silver/Gold) manufacturing standards.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
3–5+ years of process improvement or manufacturing engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Proven success applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Green Belt or higher preferred.
Knowledge of Lean tools 5S, Kaizen, Line Balancing, SMED, OEE, and Value Stream Mapping.
Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Minitab, or similar).
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
Hands‑on problem solver who thrives in fast‑paced manufacturing environments.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel 10–15% as needed.
