The

Assistant Project Manager (APM)

will support project management teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in mechanical systems who is looking to grow into a full Project Manager position. You’ll work closely with field supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation. Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and constructability. Prepare RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, and other project correspondence. Track material deliveries, equipment rentals, and subcontractor progress. Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely installation and issue resolution. Attend project meetings and document meeting minutes and action items. Support project closeout activities including punch lists, O&M manuals, and as-built documentation. Contribute to maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). 2–5 years of experience with a mechanical subcontractor (HVAC, plumbing, or piping). Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction drawings, and trade coordination. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and construction management software (Procore, CMiC, etc.). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility. Competitive base salary (estimated range:
