About The Opportunity We’re seeking a motivated Project Engineer with a solid background in mechanical construction to join our team in Fremont. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys being directly involved in delivering high-quality mechanical systems for complex commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with project planning, coordination, and scheduling across multiple HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects.
Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure accuracy and timely communication.
Support material procurement, fabrication, and delivery logistics to maintain project progress.
Collaborate with field foremen and superintendents to ensure quality installations and adherence to design intent.
Monitor and report on project costs, budgets, and progress to help maintain profitability and timelines.
Interface with clients, general contractors, and design teams to resolve challenges and maintain strong relationships.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience working for a mechanical subcontractor on HVAC, piping, or plumbing projects.
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, and field coordination.
Proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Project/Excel preferred.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
