A reputable financial services firm is seeking a focused and experienced HR Payroll Associate to join its Human Resources team. This role focuses on accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while supporting broader HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of payroll and HR experience, strong command of payroll systems, and exceptional attention to detail. This is an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team that values precision, integrity, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Maintain accurate payroll records, deductions, and benefits information
Partner with HR and Finance teams to manage onboarding, employee status changes, and offboarding from a payroll perspective
Prepare and support payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end reporting (e.g., W-2s and other tax filings)
Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll inquiries
Assist with HR data management, reporting, and general administrative support
Uphold strict confidentiality of employee and organizational information
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of payroll and HR operations experience
Strong proficiency with payroll platforms (e.g.,
ADP, Paycom , or similar systems) In-depth understanding of federal and state labor laws and tax regulations Exceptional accuracy, organization, and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS systems Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities independently Base salary: $100,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience) Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with employer contribution Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the firm
