Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Salary is 150k to 200k; 100% remote. The HR Director will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, training and development, and HR strategy. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and making a tangible impact in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's mission, values, and business goals.
HR Strategy & Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR-related matters.
HR Strategy & Leadership: Build and continuously improve HR policies, programs, and procedures.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and source top talent.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Implement effective employer branding and recruitment strategies.
Employee Relations & Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Employee Relations & Culture: Provide guidance on conflict resolution, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.
Employee Relations & Culture: Conduct internal investigations as needed and ensure fair and consistent outcomes.
Compliance & HR Operations: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Compliance & HR Operations: Maintain employee records and manage HRIS system.
Compliance & HR Operations: Oversee workplace safety, labor law postings, and other compliance-related tasks.
Compensation & Benefits: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other perks.
Compensation & Benefits: Manage compensation structure, pay equity, and salary reviews.
Compensation & Benefits: Work with brokers and vendors during benefits renewals and open enrollment.
Performance Management & Development: Lead performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.
Performance Management & Development: Support leadership with succession planning and career development strategies.
Performance Management & Development: Coordinate training programs, employee development, and upskilling initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Retention: Develop and implement initiatives to boost morale, engagement, and retention.
Employee Engagement & Retention: Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or HR certification preferred: SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR).
7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Broad knowledge across all HR disciplines, especially in small or mid-sized company settings.
Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
