Security Manager
at our World Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. This position will support Lutron as we continue to grow both domestically and internationally.
As a
Security Manager , you will help ensure the physical security of our workforce by implementing relevant policies, standards, and procedures, and enhancing the capabilities of new and existing services. You will be responsible for creating a secure environment across the business by effectively deploying site security resources and security systems, supporting security governance, auditing, and conducting incident investigations.
Responsibilities
Ensure site security programs comply with Lutron's global security policies
Manage and direct security service providers
Ensure adequate coverage and capability to detect and respond to security or emergency incidents at Lutron locations
Research and recommend tools and practices that will improve security for Lutron facilities
Serve as contact with law enforcement and first responders on all security matters
Actively communicate potential security threats to impacted employees
Support investigations and site assessments
Ensure corrective actions are recommended and implemented where necessary (including incidents involving external individuals)
Track and report on security metrics
Develop, implement, and track security training for employees and contractors
Provide security architecture support to project management of site projects
Travel to other Lutron facilities worldwide up to 30% of the time
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred; majors include Administration, Business, Criminal Justice, Political Science, and Security Management
7+ years in the security industry with a multinational company
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
PCI or other professional discipline credential or experience preferred
Working knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, safety, and intrusion control systems
Proficiency in investigative techniques, including interview techniques
Proven experience exercising judgment and quick decision making in emergency situations
Experience working with multiple stakeholders, government agencies, and regulators
Ability to operate in a fast-paced and challenging multi-matrix environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Spanish fluency is a plus
Willingness and ability to travel, worldwide, up to 30% of the time
