Position: Assistant Teaching Professor Department: SAS-DLS-Undergrad Instruction Salary Details: 82110 Posting Summary: The Division of Life Sciences, Rutgers, The State University, Piscataway/New Brunswick campus, has an opening for an annually renewable, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor position starting in the Fall 2026 semester. Primary responsibility will be teaching Anatomy and Physiology, both lecture and lab. Anatomy and Physiology is a large introductory course aimed primarily at students interested in pursuing a career in the allied health professions. A Ph.D. in a relevant life sciences discipline and experience teaching at a University level are required. Experience teaching with a class size greater than 100 students and experience in the implementation of active learning pedagogy is preferred.
