Overview
Willamette Veterinary Hospital, located in Corvallis, Oregon, is looking for a Medical Director to join our team.
About the clinic Willamette Veterinary Hospital is a full-service, AAHA accredited, small animal general practice and 24/7 emergency hospital. Our hospital is equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, Snyder oxygen cage, blood products, therapy laser, and CO2 laser. Ideal qualifications
Oregon Veterinary License – active and in good standing
Emergency or Urgent Care experience not required
3+ years’ DVM experience
1+ years of leadership experience desired but not required
Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and build a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities / Role expectations
Own responsibility for ensuring clinic revenue targets are achieved
Develop and ensure minimum standards of care at the hospital level
Provide strategic direction, coaching, and mentoring to associate veterinarians
Ensure safe, consistent, efficient, therapeutic, and ethical patient care and outstanding client service
Collaborate with the Practice Manager to develop a hospital annual operating plan
Lead leadership efforts in clinical excellence, recruitment and retention, and advocacy for MVP growth
