AWS & MongoDB Architect
with experience in the AWS cloud platform. The person will be responsible for designing cloud-centric solutions as per customer requirements. The selected candidate should be able to understand business problems and provide technology consulting to identify the best-fit solutions. They will comprehend requirements and the client’s cloud maturity to define viable solution architecture, analyze ambiguous technical and customer requirements to provide optimal solutions, maintain healthy relationships with clients and development teams, articulate customer requirements and pain points to executives and a feature crew, own the end-to-end solution as a key decision-maker, and drive the overall solution. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. Responsibilities Own the end-to-end cloud-centric solution architecture and serve as a key decision-maker. Engage with clients to understand requirements, pain points, and cloud maturity; translate into viable architectures. Design and implement solutions using AWS services, focusing on serverless web applications, API development, serverless batch processing (ECS, Fargate), RDS (Aurora/PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB or DynamoDB), and AWS deployment of services. Leverage AWS Glue or ETL tools and No-SQL database concepts in the solution. Facilitate migration from relational databases to No-SQL systems (e.g., Snowflake to AWS MongoDB/DynamoDB Atlas). Develop microservices (APIs), refactor code, and containerize using Docker; deploy to EKS. Maintain strong client and development-team relationships; communicate technology solutions to diverse stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be substituted for each year of education. Location: within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Fort Mill, SC, or willing to relocate; some travel to project locations may be required. At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology. At least 5 years of experience with database and API-related areas in designing and fine-tuning reporting applications. Proficiency in developing cloud-centric solutions using AWS: Serverless web applications API development Serverless batch processing (ECS, Fargate) RDS (Aurora/PostgreSQL) NoSQL (MongoDB or DynamoDB) AWS deployment: deploying AWS services to the cloud environment AWS Glue or ETL tools AWS No-SQL databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB Experience migrating data from relational databases to No-SQL (Snowflake → AWS MongoDB/DynamoDB Atlas) .NET Core with strong .NET exposure for writing microservices, refactoring, and containerizing (Docker) these microservices into EKS Preferred Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in Database Architecture and API development At least 10 years of experience in the software development lifecycle At least 8 years of experience in project lifecycle activities across various project types At least 5 years of experience in design and architecture reviews Ability to work in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment Strong exposure in designing and fine-tuning reporting applications Exposure to the Financial Domain Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and developers Experience and willingness to work in a global delivery environment Thought leadership with a proven record in leading transformational projects Ability to develop value- and client-centric solutions in response to client needs and market trends Consulting and advisory skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a distributed environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technology solutions to technical, business, enterprise architecture, and senior management audiences The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods.
