This position is based in the Seattle, Washington area. Responsibilities
Sales Growth and Account Management
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals within the assigned territory. Build and maintain a sales pipeline of $2M+ in opportunities, ensuring consistent growth and momentum. Close $1M+ in new business opportunities annually through prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building. Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with end-users, distributors, and key accounts in industries such as construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, and utilities. Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business in partnership with national distribution partners. Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations, and training sessions to showcase Delta Plus USA’s PPE solutions.
Market Development
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and tailor sales strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns, promotions, and product launches to enhance brand visibility and market penetration. Represent Delta Plus USA at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and build brand awareness.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline development using CRM software. Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams, including product development, customer service, and supply chain, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services. Partner with technical support and product specialists to address customer inquiries and provide tailored solutions.
Compliance and Safety Advocacy
Stay informed about industry regulations, safety standards, and certifications relevant to PPE products. Educate customers on the importance of compliance and the benefits of Delta Plus USA’s safety solutions.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent of 4 years of EHS / operations experience; Safety Manager experience is highly desirable). Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in B2B sales, preferably in PPE, safety equipment, or industrial products. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, including closing $1M+ in new business and maintaining a $2M+ pipeline. OSHA training cards (e.g., OSHA 10 or OSHA 30) and Qualified Safety Sales Professional (QSSP) certification are highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of PPE products, safety standards (OSHA, ANSI), and industry trends is a plus.
Other Requirements
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively (up to 50-75% of the time) within the assigned territory. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer schedules and events. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to sales.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry product samples or demonstration materials (above 20 lbs) during customer visits or trade shows. Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial sites, warehouses, and office settings. Compensation And Benefits
