Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst II supports planning, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis for Rockwell's Intelligent Devices (ITD) organization. You will report to the Finance Manager - Global Analytics & Insights (GA&I) and collaborate with the ITD Finance team and other GA&I partners to achieve outcomes. The GA&I mission is to provide partners with information to manage performance and support decision-making, while improving processes. You will manage standard reporting and analysis for the business and provide ad-hoc support. You will use global consolidation systems (EPM) and SAP to provide performance reporting and insight on financial metrics with a focus on automation, simplification and standardization. You will analyze monthly results versus forecast, AOP, and prior year, and provide management with insight on current and forward-looking results.
Responsibilities
Monitor and review applicable financial reports prepared by the GA&I team
Ensure predictability of results by guiding AOP and quarterly forecasting processes
Help prepare the annual Business Strategy Review (BSR)
Develop and advocate for automation, simplification, and standardization in reporting
Create ad hoc analyses and respond to business inquiries to understand material drivers of financial performance
Align with other teams in GA&I to improve and standardize global processes
Help with team training efforts and develop co-workers' FP&A skillsets and systems knowledge
Qualifications The Essentials - You Will Have
Bachelor's degree

The Preferred - You Might Also Have
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Typically requires 8 years related accounting/finance experience
Experience with SAP, Oracle EPM, or related systems
Command of US GAAP, income statement, and balance sheet
Cultural sensitivity
Experience working across departments and regions to gather pertinent data
CPA or MBA
