Base pay range $60.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Key Requirements & Qualifications
Mandatory: Engineering degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical preferred)
Not accepted: Computer Science or unrelated degrees unless exceptional aerospace experience exists
Preferred: 4–5+ years in aviation industry
Not mandatory: Specific number of years or commercial airline experience
Not required: CAD/design work – this role is focused on certification, not engineering design
Certification Experience (Highly Desirable):
• TSO (Technical Standard Order)
• STC (Supplemental Type Certificate)
• TC (Type Certificate)
• Familiarity with CFR Part 25 and Part 121 (FAA regulations)
• Experience with helicopter or Part 23 certification is a plus
Preferred Skills & Traits
Self-starters with strong initiative
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and especially SharePoint
Comfort with repetitive tasks and varied work types
Prior aircraft certification or substantiation experience is a major green flag
Ability to follow FAA compliance protocols and documentation
Strong communication and organizational skills
Typical Responsibilities
Creating compliance and substantiation documentation
Tracking conformities and audit items
Assigning technical tasks to SMEs
Working in SharePoint and a custom in-house system
Minimal to no aircraft contact; work is 95% office-based
Possible light travel (if supporting other modification facilities)
Start time flexibility available (e.g., 7:00–3:30 if preferred)
