Rotating Equipment Engineer
to enhance the reliability and performance of mechanical systems at a large-scale industrial site. This role centers on rotating machinery and supports broader mechanical integrity and reliability initiatives. Responsibilities
Serve as a technical expert for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and blowers. Support maintenance and reliability teams with condition monitoring data analysis and troubleshooting. Ensure mechanical integrity compliance through documentation, audits, and procedure development. Lead root cause failure analyses and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, replacements, and installations. Review specifications for new equipment and recommend selections, including spare parts. Oversee predictive and preventive maintenance programs for critical assets. Assist with planning and execution of site shutdowns, turnarounds, and special projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs. Provide off-hours technical support for urgent mechanical issues as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering within a heavy industrial or process manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of machinery diagnostics including vibration analysis, oil sampling, ultrasonic inspection, and thermography. Familiarity with CMMS platforms and standard engineering software. Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ANSI, OSHA). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Location: Oklahoma City, OK
