Aerospace Supply Planning Analyst,

you will improve results and reduce risk in the business supply chain through the analysis of plant supply plan and financial forecasts and actual results. This is a hybrid position and can be based at the Sylmar, CA locations. This is a hybrid role primarily at our Sylmar, CA facility and you will report to the Global Supply Chain Director. Responsibilities Work in a matrix organization, providing support platform, finance, operations and other personnel. Provide the critical thinking necessary to lead and direct the analysis of alternative approaches and methodologies necessary to improve consistency of supply plan forecasting and results reporting Provide support in establishing and maintaining standard work and best practices within our manufacturing facilities for supply plan and financial estimate processes Support creation of operational information/data in such a way that both timely and data-based business decisions can be made and issues resolved for routine production and new programs. Supply plan reporting subject matter expert, including QAD records, alignment between units and financial results, plant tracking of results to plan, and identification of supply/demand misalignment issues. Identifying and implementing process improvements to improve accuracy of supply plan forecasts. Setup and reconciliation of supply plan information in appropriate systems which could include QAD and PowerBI. Development of tools which help key commercial, operations, and financial stakeholders aligned with the plan and current state of results. Creation of SOP material documentation in preparation for monthly reconciliation meetings. Work with cross functional teams such as; operations personnel including plant managers, operations managers, supervisors, platform directors, segment managers, customer service, and finance. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a business, engineering or other analytic discipline required. Four (4) or more years of experience analyzing supply forecasts and associate metrics required. Experience supporting data for government program tracking is preferred. Experience with continuous improvement tools as well as leading continuous improvement projects preferred. MRP tools experience required. Ability to travel up to 25% Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
