$150,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Ledger (GL) Accounting Manager to lead our general ledger operations and technical accounting areas. This role is responsible for managing intercompany transactions, joint venture accounting, and equity method investments, as well as ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements across a multi-entity environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, including ASC 810 (Consolidation) and ASC 805 (Business Combination), and demonstrated experience supporting complex entity structures in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company. Key Responsibilities
Work on monthly, quarterly, and year-end general ledger accounting close processes, including complex areas, such as debt, derivative and equity. Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions, including billing, settlements, and eliminations. Manage joint venture accounting, including contributions, distributions, equity pickups, and eliminations. Support the setup of new legal entities, including accounting structure, chart of accounts, and compliance requirements. Record and manage capital calls and funding flows between parent and affiliates, including JV entities. Partner with Finance and Legal teams to support acquisitions and joint venture accounting, including integration, and purchase accounting. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Maintain and improve controls and processes over financial reporting and compliance. Support external audits by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and ensuring audit readiness. Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other departments to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Mentor and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance and performance feedback. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred). Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting and at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong understanding of intercompany accounting, consolidations, and multi-entity structures. Experience with entity setup, funding flows, M&A accounting, debt instruments, and derivatives. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite). Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the banking, REIT, infrastructure, or telecom/data center industries. Familiarity with ASC 810 (Consolidation), ASC 805 (Business Combination), and other relevant accounting standards. Experience with process automation and system implementations.
