Overview

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive benefit programs. The Manufacturing/Process Engineering II is responsible to ensure quality meets desired standards, compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards, provide training to personnel on new processes, equipment and procedures, and track and meet key performance indicators. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Technical Operations and is part of the Manufacturing Technical Operations team located in Miami, FL, and is an onsite role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to production improvements within life sciences, diagnostics and biotechnology, leveraging Danaher’s system of continuous improvement to turn ideas into impact. Responsibilities

Optimize production processes by analyzing existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. This includes implementing lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.

Design tooling and fixtures to help streamline production processes.

Collaborate with production teams such as production, supplier quality and design engineers to ensure smooth operations.

Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding improvements.

Participate in meetings for design changes to identify manufacturing requirements and appropriate dependencies in collaboration with a multidisciplinary project team.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering with 2+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 0–2 years.

Proficient in root cause analysis and data-driven troubleshooting to resolve production issues efficiently.

Hands-on experience applying lean manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping.

Skilled in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues to minimize downtime.

Strong foundation in engineering principles with practical application in manufacturing environments.

Compensation and Benefits The annual salary range for this role is 77,000.00 – 84,000.00 USD. This range may be modified in the future. This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
