Overview
The Construction Licensed Journeyman Electrician is responsible for electrical project installations, project planning and review, cost estimation, and will have oversight of the electrical project budget ensuring electrical projects meet budgetary requirements. In addition, this position will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of hospital electrical systems and components with voltages up to 13800 volts, ensuring uninterrupted power to all Medical Center buildings. May direct the work of less skilled electrician(s) and maintenance staff on projects as part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities
Perform electrical project installations and related planning and reviews Develop and review project cost estimates and manage electrical budgets Maintain and repair hospital electrical systems and components up to 13,800 volts Ensure uninterrupted power to Medical Center facilities Direct the work of less skilled electricians and maintenance staff as part of a team Required Qualifications
Upon hire: National EPA Section 608 Certification - State County City Trade License Authority Upon hire: National Electrician Journeyman License - State County City Trade License Authority 10 or more years in the construction field reading blueprints, electrical diagrams, installing electrical components including high and low voltage systems, including 13.8V electrical switch gear, running conduits Experience performing preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, including panels, performing infrared scanning Preferred Qualifications
7 years of knowledge of electrical codes in an acute care facility About Providence
