Overview
VP, Information Technology role at RelaDyne LLC, located onsite in Houston, TX. The VP of IT leads enterprise-wide IT initiatives and serves as a strategic advisor (Chief of Staff) to the Chief Technology/Information Officer (CDTIO). This position is ideal for a seasoned technology executive who combines deep technical expertise with exceptional organizational leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills. As VP of IT, you will contribute to the planning, development, and execution of the company’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations, while ensuring alignment across IT functions, driving key initiatives, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities
In partnership with the CDTIO, develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with business goals. Provide oversight and guidance for IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and service delivery. Assist in the management of IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments. Build and lead high-performing teams across IT disciplines. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives across the organization. Serve as a strategic thought partner and advisor to the CDTIO. Coordinate and prioritize cross-functional initiatives and special projects. Facilitate executive-level communications, presentations, and reporting. Monitor progress on strategic initiatives and ensure timely execution. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; MBA and/or other certifications are preferred. 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 7+ years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience managing enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, and digital transformation. Strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud computing, data governance, and emerging technologies. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and drive alignment across functions. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. High emotional intelligence and executive presence. Experience with SAP implementations or migrations is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize and prioritize project sets based on substance, urgency, and capacity; strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred
Experience as a VP of Information Technology. Experience presenting to an executive leadership team and/or board of directors. Experience with highly acquisitive companies.
